Q. I do not use charge cards or have my own computer, how can I place an order?
A. You can simply call us the old fashioned way to request what you would like ( *see policies page on telephoned orders). If you are familiar with Swarovski series #'s and colors please have them ready, it will keep the cost of your call down. We will take your charge card information at that time or call you back with a total that includes your shipping charges so a check or money order can be mailed (see Contact Us). Please note that all personal checks can take up to 10 days to clear.
 
Q. Will I receive confirmation of my order?
A. Orders by email will get a confirmation within 24 hrs. Monday - Friday. If you do not, a spam filter on your computer or your Internet Provider might be blocking our email. Please add our address ( sales@austriaconnection.com ) to your address book. If you still have not received a confirmation, please call us at 781-721-2880 to make sure your order has gone through. Orders by post mail or fax will get a telephone confirmation if requested only. If no email address is listed on the order you must write a daytime phone number or answering machine where you can be reached. We will make only 1 attempt to call, and if you are not reached your order will be shipped.

Q. How will I know if the product I ordered is in stock?
A. One of our main goals at Austria Connection is to keep well stocked of all items. We currently have a 96% complete order fill rate. Unfortunately, shortages do at times occur in the market because of popularity, time of year, and the demand on Swarovski to provide worldwide. You can request stock information when placing your order and we will email you back along with your confirmation. This may however slow down your confirmation of order notice because stock will only be checked at time of picking due to other customer orders before yours.

Q. I live in Massachusetts and have a resale license, can I not be charged tax?
A.

You will not be charged Massachusetts sales tax if you mail us a copy of your official Sales And Tax Use Registration. The following guidelines must be met.

1. It must be issued in the name of or company name, of the one to whom we are shipping.
2. We must have it on file before you place your order.
3. Temporary registrations will not be accepted.
4. Do not click the 'Massachusetts sales tax' button when placing your order.


Q. What is Swarovski Crystal?
A. For more than 100 years the Swarovski family company based in Wattens, Austria, has been the worlds leading manufacturer of cut crystal. With the exact mixture of raw materials (quartz, sand, precious minerals) Swarovski produces crystal stones of the highest quality and crystalline brilliance. Their products are used in many industries throughout the world.

Q. Do you stock any vintage Swarovski items or discontinued colors?
A. If a color should become discontinued while it is a regular stock item we will continue to sell all remaining stock until it is sold out. We do not seek to purchase any vintage items or discontinued colors for re-sale.

Q. Can I get better price breaks for larger quanities of an item?
A. This question is frequently asked by customers who do not fully understand what a 'large' quanity really is. Austria Connection has worked hard at being able to offer you some of the lowest possible prices in the business without compromising quality. If you have any one item (not several combined) that would equal a purchase amount of $500.00, you may call us to inquire about further price breaks.
