26 gauge
26 gauge is the lightest head pin wire size we offer. These are generally used for pearls or gemstones with small holes. This size wire seldom comes perfectly straight and returns will not be accepted for this reason. Offered in 2" length only.

These are top quality head pins offering consistency and just the right hardness. This is a medium weight wire with longer lengths commonly used in wire wrapping 4mm - 8mm size beads or pearls.

Head Pins
22 gauge

22 gauge wire head pins are of heavy weight. Our 22 gauge head pins are of the highest quality with a .060 head size and wires being consistent. Heavier wires are generally used for wire wrapping heavier beads and pendants, or when no wire wrapping is desired. Slight bowing is unavoidable in 3" sizes and returns for this reason will not be accepted.

Head Pins

Head Pins with 1mm ball are available in Sterling Silver, 24 gauge only. These are machine made head pins of good quality which are a third of the cost of hand made head pins with ball ends. Due to the absence of piece by piece soldering, these head pins have a higher than average rate of solder breakage. Because of their popularity with our customers who desire that extra 'hand crafted look', we will continue to stock this item. However; we will not accept returns of head pins that have had the ball ends come off. Purchase at your own risk, you can expect on average a 10% amount of breakage.
